This is a nice flashlight/lantern. The top piece just turns and then pops up to make the lantern. You can also keep the top down to make it a flashlight. It runs through three cycles of light: bright, low, and a steady flashing light. I have had some issues in the last with other ones not shutting off all the way. I have not had that issue with this one. It has worked perfectly well so far and I expect it will continue to do so!
Recently received my order and I could not be happier. The item arrived quickly and in great shape. The packaging was easy to open and I was able to get right to using the product and running it through some tests. I must say that I have been very pleased so far from what I have seen. I have been building out some 72-hour/Bug Out Bags for my kids and I thought these would be a great addition. They are simple and easy to use and provide them with some light and entertainment.continue reading

Works really well and is sturdy. We have a few that were "seen on TV" and they fell apart in a few months. This seems much sturdier. I keep it by my bed and have used it both as a flashlight and a lantern. We'll definitely be taking it on vacation with us.
I feel like there isnt much to say about this lantern. While it does exactly as advertised, and is a fair price, nothing really wow'd me. The light wasn't bright enough to stand out from other lanterns I've seen. It didn't stand out as far as quality, although it's stood up to a few uses without issue. It uses batteries. While that's not good or bad, I've seen many for a few dollars more that offer solar charging on top of batteries. Overall, I'd say this product is exactly what I was expecting, especially for the price. It will go into my survival bag along with a few spare batteries.continue reading
